nontraditional names to

go along with Frey’s idea

of never limiting tastes.

Frey’s Brewing Company

brews what they love with

ingredients directly from

their farm. The batch size

for Frey’s is much smaller

compared to larger brewing

companies. In fact, they

brew two barrels at a time,

or 62 gallons. They also

open-ferment and don’t use

temperature control on their

fermentations. Therefore,

sometimes batches can

have the same ingredients,

but taste quite different.

Currently, Frey’s is a

production-only farm, but

intends to get a license to

hold tastings. Until then,

Frey’s Brewing Company

can be found at events

and locations around

the state of Maryland.
