In order to sustain small
farming in Maryland,
Tom Barse and Carolann
McConaughy founded
Milkhouse Brewery at
Stillpoint Farm. Located on
Dollyhyde Road in Mount
Airy, Maryland, Milkhouse
Brewery encourages people
to come and enjoy their
beautiful farm while tasting
their farm-grown and
hand-crafted beer in their
tasting room. The Farm
Brewery focuses on local and
sustainable farming; their
events and activities on the
farm draw in the support
for Maryland farming.
Milkhouse Brewery uses
their own hops to create
their traditional style of
ales. They also use many
ingredients grown on their
farm or sourced from the
local neighborhood to
enhance the local character
of their brews. If you stop by
for a tasting, most of their
traditional styles of ales are
seasonable and refreshing.
