At Hare Vineyard, speciality
beers are always available
and they vineyard features
growler fills, pints and

weekend they have corn
hole, live music, and
rotating food vendors.
They’re conveniently co-
located with Running Hare
Vineyard, so you can enjoy
fine Maryland wines along
with Calvert’s local craft
beer. On the farm they grow
their own hops and have
their seasonal Beer Garden.

agricultural preservation
farm in Laytonsville on what
used to be known as Camp
Waredaca (WAshington
REcreational DAy CAmp).
The ideals from Camp
Waredaca are continued
through Waredaca Brewing
Company such as limiting
disturbed land, using as
much organic/local grains
and hops as possible, and
being a zero-waste brewery.
All products they use in the
tasting room are reusable,
recyclable, or compostable.
Waredaca is a working
horse farm where the best
equestrian barns and riding
lessons are housed. Current
managers Robert and
Gretchen Butts are certified
agricultural stewards.
All the beers crafted by the
head brewer at Waredaca
are made from the finest
quality of barley and
hops. All the beers made
contain an ingredient that
is grown or produced on
the farm. Currently, their
eight homemade craft beers
are available for tasting
as well as on the go!

license classification, a
passion for good beer

family to create Falling
Branch Brewery, Harford
County’s first farm brewery.
Following years of planning
and hard work, small-batch
beer production began at
the farm in fall of 2015.

farm is dedicated to creating
and producing homegrown
hops and ingredients to craft

goal is to eventually
sustain their brewery
using crops entirely grown
within Brookeville.

Brookeville Beer Farm
with a vision in mind and
a hardworking staff to help
make their vision a reality.
Two hop yards are already
built on the farm, and
plans to create a brewer’s
garden and expand their
hop yard are in the future.
