Milkhouse Brewery

Milkhouse Brewery

is known as the first

farm brewery in

Maryland and uses as

many locally sourced

ingredients as possible

for their craft beers.

The hop farm and

brewery create 5

year-round styles that

are “improved with

Maryland hops” with

seasonal releases

as well. Focused on

self-sustaining small

farming and supporting

Maryland farms,

Milkhouse Brewery

uses its tasting room

to draw attention to

the importance of

these issues while

indulging in a delicious

craft beer or two.

Monocacy Brewing

Company

Monocacy Brewing

Company opened in

2011 and has been

crafting full-flavored

ales and lagers ever

since. They have

created a public tasting

room in the old Ebert’s

Ice Cream plant in

downtown Frederick

where you can go and

sample their brews.

They also have an

on-site bottling facility

in collaboration with

Brewer’s Alley.

Olde Mother

Brewing Company

As one of the newest

editions to Frederick’s

growing brewery list,

Olde Mother has made

a splash within its

smaller space. Brewing

on a custom 55-gallon

tank, with old-school

favorites and new-

school twists, the brew

masters at Olde Mother

invite you to come

down and share a pint.

Red Shedman Farm

Brewery & Hop Yard

Red Shedman Brewery

is located on the rolling

hills of Linganore

Winery. Sitting on

200 acres of farm

land, growing grapes

and hops, the farm

brewery has taken

off with new takes on

old favorites made

with fresh ingredients.

While the main level

is a tasting room full

of beers on tap, by

the can, and freshly

bottled, the lower level

is a 15-barrel brew

house. Serving lite fare,

live music and fresh

brews, Red Shedman

is a welcoming and

relaxing environment

to experience a

Maryland craft beer.

Smoketown

Brewing Station

Sitting in a converted

1948 firehouse,

Smoketown Brewing

Station offers craft

beers to the town of

Brunswick and the

surrounding areas. With

a seven-barrel on-site

brewing system and

food trucks on a regular

rotation, the five year-

round beers on tap,

and the growler (and

crowler) filling stations,

Smoketown Brewing

is an exciting updated

version of the old

firehouse hangout.
