FAMILY FUN

EVERY PARENT HAS HIS OR

HER LIMIT. BETWEEN COMPUTERS

AND TELEVISIONS AND PHONES

AND GAMING DEVICES, IT SEEMS

LIKE MOST KIDS TODAY SPEND

MORE TIME SITTING AND STARING

THAN THEY DO JUMPING, DODGING,

RUNNING, OR SWIMMING.

LET’S PUT AN END TO THAT!

Let’s dive right in with an array of options

for swimming, both indoors and outdoors.

The

Columbia Association

(CA) owns and

operates twenty-three outdoor swimming

pools, including two Mini WaterParks. CA

also oversees an indoor

swim center with

a waterslide and a

hot-water therapy

pool. Indoor swimming

pools can also be

found in Columbia at

Supreme Sports Club

and

Columbia Gym

.

At the

Columbia Swim Center

, members

can enjoy two twenty-five-yard indoor pools, a

wading pool, and a springboard. The center is

also home to

SplashDown

, which is new and

improved and open to the public. It boasts “720

feet of twisting, turning, wet and wild fun.”
