For many years Howard County farms have grown the wheat,
corn, barley, herbs, fruits and vegetable used to produce and

and micro malting facilities to their facilities. Many of the
county’s microbreweries and the distillery have shown
their support of the agriculture industry by purchasing
locally grown products to incorporate into their products.

Development Authority, Lost Art Distillery, which
will be opening in 2016, was focused on using locally
grown wheat, rye and corn for their whiskeys and
bourbons.The owners were focused on matching with
farmers that would provide a great base to develop the
best tasting whiskeys and bourbons on the market.
