Bengies Drive-In Theatre
The Bengies Drive-In Theatre in Middle
River is a Baltimore-area institution. While
most drive-ins have long since closed,
Bengies, which has operated continu-
ously since 1956, keeps going strong by
providing movie fans a fun, family-friendly
setting, and the biggest continuously
operated movie screen – at 52-feet high
and 120-feet wide – in the United States.
Storyville
Learn and play your day away at one
of Baltimore County’s colorful Storyville
locations. Storyville, located in the local
public library branches of Rosedale and
Woodlawn, is an engaging child-sized
village that includes developmentally
appropriate books and activities for
children from birth to five years of age.
Go to the puppet stage to put on a show,
head over to the construction zone or
crawl through Toddler Woods — there’s a
world of fun to explore!
Reisterstown Sportsplex
Opened in 2008, the Reisterstown
Sportsplex is Baltimore County’s premier
sports facility, providing high-quality recre-
ation programs and family entertainment.
This facility houses a 200 x 85 foot NHL
ice rink and a 180 x 80 foot indoor soccer/
lacrosse field with state-of-the-art artificial
turf.
