W
estern Maryland is known for its rural landscapes,
rolling mountains, and rich history. The region
stretches approximately 120 miles from the eastern
boundary of Frederick County to the western
boundary of Garrett County. The hip and historic
downtown of Frederick is home to many fun restaurants, bars,
and tap houses complete with locally brewed Maryland beers.
Western Maryland hosts 13 different Brewers Association of
Maryland members for visitors to explore. This variety of craft
brewers gives any guest the opportunity to find a beer that
they love. Our spotlight focuses on a local favorite beer store,
brewery, ambassador, and restaurant all located within the
area. We hope that these recommendations will be beneficial
for newcomers traveling throughout Western Maryland!
