The American Red Cross provides 24-hour

crisis assistance. They offer presentations on

disaster preparedness, and courses in First Aid,

CPR, Water Safety, and Informal Caregivers and

Babysitting, as well as help military families

secure emergency leave and emergency loans.

Perry Point Women’s Program and its community

outreach clinics are committed to serving the

healthcare needs of women veterans. They

offer general health assessment and treatment

including GYN services (mammography and

cervical cancer screenings), STDs, hormone

therapy, cardiopulmonary disorders (including

hypertension), colorectal cancer, osteoporosis,

incontinence, immunizations, psychiatric

disorders, addictions, nutritional counseling,

and smoking cessation. Also offers pastoral

and individual counseling, Women in Recovery

support group, and sexual trauma treatment.

Outpatient treatment is provided to all eligible

veterans by a team of professionals who have

specialized knowledge and experience in

understanding the physical and emotional aftermath

of sexual trauma. Eligible veterans are those men

and women who have been sexually assaulted or

harassed while in the military or who have a history

of sexual assault rape, or incest. We also treat

individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

(PTSD). Call for information on all programs.
