Rocks State Park
, situated on 850 acres bordering
Deer Creek, is just eight miles north of Bel Air. The
throne-like rock formation called the King and
Queen Seats – where, according to legend, Indian
Chieftains once sat in tribal council – is a popular
feature. Enjoy rock climbing, picnicking, hiking,
birdwatching, tubing, canoeing, fishing and seasonal
bow hunting, all within the borders of the park.
