The APGFCU Arena at Harford Community

College is the largest indoor venue in

northeastern Maryland. The arena seats

2,500 in stadium seating and 3,200

with floor seating. It hosts community

and regional events, commencements,

concerts, conferences and trade shows.

Harford Plein Air

Painting Festival

Harford Plein Air 2017, hosted by

Maryland Center for the Arts, is the third

annual plein air painting competition

held in Harford County. Artists from

all over the U.S. are invited to a juried

competition, where they spend the

week painting outdoors in the “plein

air” style, at various locations through

Harford County. The week-long

festival includes a one-day Quick Draw

Competition open to all artists of all ages,

and culminates in a Collector’s Preview

Party, Award Ceremony, and Art Sale.
