The ACCU assists with questions about
HealthChoice, the Maryland Children’s
Health Program. The unit also assists with
choosing a Managed Care Organization
(MCO); choosing a doctor; Medical Assistance
benefits; accessing care; and locating services
such as mental health, substance abuse
treatment, dental, specialty providers and
care coordination for medical assistance.
