didn’t have the average

brewery beginning. In

1932, a man named R.

Beecher Butts started

a day camp for young boys in a rural

Maryland area, just outside of Washington

D.C. Roughly twenty years later, the

camp moved to Laytonsville, MD where

they transitioned into a co-ed residential

camp, and they remain there to this day.

This camp was known as Waredaca which

stood for Washington Recreational Day

Camp, and Waredaca hosted thousands of

happy campers throughout those years.

As time went on, the farm transitioned

away from the camp life and became one

of the best horse-riding and racking event,

barns and top riding lesson facilities.

Waredaca brews eight different beers, all

varying in styles. From an IPA to a Winter

Spiced Ale, every type of beer consumer

will find something to enjoy here. All of
