Livable Homes County Tax Credit Ph: 410-313-4076 www.howardcountymd.gov The Livable Homes County Tax Credit is available for certain types of accessibility features* installed in a homeowner’s principal residence. The property owner may file an application** to receive credit against county tax for a feature that is installed on an existing residence that is the owner’s principal residence when the feature is installed. The amount of the credit is the lesser of 50% of the eligible cost or $2,500. You must also obtain a permit from the Department of Inspections, License & Permits (DILP) for the work (even if the scope of work would not normally require a permit and inspection). Maryland Rx Card www.marylandrxcard.com Maryland RX card is a free statewide discount prescription assistance program to help uninsured and underinsured residents afford their prescriptions. People with insurance can also use Maryland RX Card to get discounts on medication not covered by their insurance (non-covered drugs). Maryland residents can print a card by visiting the program’s website www.marylandrxcard.com or simply visit any Safeway or Giant in Maryland and ask the pharmacist to have the prescription processed through the Maryland RX Card program.
