The Arc provides a private, non-profit foster care
and adoption program that recruits, trains and
supports foster and adoptive parents to care
for children with special needs who have been
abused and/or neglected. Information sessions
are offered monthly for prospective families.

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches volunteers with youth,
ages 6–14 in schools and within the communities of
Central Maryland. They provide mentoring services in
Baltimore City and one-on-one mentoring programs
in Harford, Howard, Baltimore, Carroll and Anne
Arundel Counties to improve the well-being and
safety of our children and their families. No fees.
